We are currently recruiting for a Lab Tech 1 on 1st shift. Hourly rate $23.00 an hour. shift will be 8 hours for the remainder of 2026. Starting 23027 the shift will be changing to 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week.

Lab Tech 1

What You Will Do:

• •Follow all safety guidelines and participate as a fully empowered team member to achieve organization-wide goal of zero incidents.
• •Follow specific instructions to complete assigned tasks and make suggestions for improvement.
• •Assist Line operators with start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
• •Check foam density by standardized weights.
• •Clean and maintain foaming equipment in assigned work area.
• •Adjust machines and make corrections.
• •Prepare material for changeovers.
• •Pull material off of the plates and feed it through the washer and Dryer.
• •Accurately key data into a computer.
• •Transact accurately with scan guns.
• •Record data into logs.
• •Take measurements and perform quality checks on the material.
• •Maintain accuracy of all paperwork.

What you will need:

• •Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and operate machinery continuously.
• •Ability to routinely lift objects of 25lbs. and push or pull objects up to 50 lbs.
• •Ability to work overtime and flexible hours during high-demand production seasons.
• •Knowledge of PC usage is preferred, as well as basic data entry operations.
• •Fork truck certification is a plus.
• •High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• •Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• •Demonstrated ability to multitask with excellent attention to detail.
• •18+ years of age.
