Job Description:
- Vitalant is seeking a Laboratory Technician dedicated to making a positive difference. - Your impact as a Laboratory Technician is vital. Support Vitalant's life-saving mission by operating within the laboratory handling responsibilities that include component production, labeling, record reviewing and data entry.
What to Expect
Grade: 114.NATBH
Salary : $17.09 / hour - $18.27
Schedule: Nights 11:00PM to 7:30 AM M-F OR 10pm to 8:30 AM Tues-Fri
Training : Days M-F for approx 3 mos.

As a Laboratory Technician, you'll get to:
- Maintain accurate data records and documentation.
- Prepare blood components through processes such as centrifugation, separation, freezing, thawing, washing, storage, sterile docking, transformation, and filtration.
- Ensure product quality, volume, appearance, and time requirements.
- Conduct labeling for routine and special components and implement quarantine procedures.
- High School or GED required
