Key Responsibilities:

• •Support waste management (Collection of biowaste, chemical waste and sharps containers).
• •Maintain the consumables list, order lab consumables, organization and labeling of lab consumables.
• •Daily management of essential gasses (tracking gas levels) and working with the vendor in the ordering and replacement of new tanks.
• •Tracking, shipping and receiving of mail and packages.
• •Glasswash/autoclaving of glassware.
• •General lab and office maintenance.
• •Light facilities maintenance tasks.
• •Emergency 24/7 alarm response.
• •General cleaning and sanitization of the facility.
• •Ordering, stocking, and organization of lab consumables.
• •Conference room and workstation set up.
• •Monthly testing of critical emergency equipment such as eyewash/shower.
• •Any other activities and tasks reasonably requested by the company

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• •AS/BS in relevant fields and 0-2 years of job experience in the fast-paced biotech industry.
• •Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• •Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• •Ability to lift and move materials up to ~50 lbs. and operate transport equipment safely.
• •Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• •Ability to collaborate with scientists and management, which can be described as a “team player” approach.

Preferred Skills:

• •Familiarity with lab safety procedures and hazardous materials handling.
• •Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., biotech, pharma, research labs).
• •Strong communication and organizational skills.
