THE JOB:

As a Floral Operations Laborer, you will support the safe handling, preparation, and transportation of floral arrangements, decorative installations, and event materials across MGM Resorts properties and designated delivery locations. You will use appropriate packaging, cargo-securing techniques, and transportation equipment to protect fragile merchandise and ensure deliveries arrive safely, on time, and in excellent condition. Working closely with the Floral Operations team, you will help maintain efficient delivery operations while supporting property and special event needs.

THE STARTING RATE: $18.58

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• •Safely load, secure, transport, and deliver floral arrangements, decorative displays, and event materials to MGM Resorts properties, corporate offices, and special event locations
• •Prepare and protect fragile merchandise, including glass vases, containers, and delicate arrangements, using appropriate packaging, cushioning, and handling techniques
• •Utilize cargo straps, cargo bars, bungee cords, and other load-securing equipment to stabilize merchandise and prevent shifting, breakage, or damage during transportation
• •Coordinate with Floral Operations team members and property departments to ensure accurate, timely deliveries, proper placement of materials, and efficient loading and unloading.
• •Operate carts, dollies, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as needed while maintaining safe work practices
• •Operate delivery vehicles, while following established transportation and safety procedures

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• •Must be 21 years of age or older
• •Previous professional delivery or transportation experience, preferably operating larger vehicles such as refrigerated trucks, box trucks, moving trucks, or cargo vans
• •Experience safely handling, packaging, and securing fragile or delicate merchandise using appropriate cargo restraints and protective materials to prevent damage during transportation.
