Land Survey Utility Coordinator – Primary Responsibilities:

• •Request underground utility markings
• •Coordinate marking authorities’ responses, including quality check of plans and onsite verification.
• •Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to add utility locations to scale on land surveys and plans
• •Operate raSmith equipment to mark private utilities and field data collection locations with GPS.
• •Quality check surveys and plans for utility accuracies
• •Provide occasional assistance on Survey field crews
• •Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Land Survey Utility Coordinator– Skills and Requirements:

• •High School Diploma or equivalent; with a preference for an Associate's Degree in Civil Engineering Technology from a U.S. accredited college or university
• •At least 1 year of experience in utility locating, surveying, or related fieldwork
• •Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, engineering plans, and specifications
• •Understanding of utility systems, including water, sewer, gas, electric, and telecommunications
• •Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with GIS, CAD, or other mapping/design tools is a plus
• •Applicable U.S. based work experience
