What does a landscape plant maintenance crew member do?

• •Maintain landscaped areas and plant material on residential and commercial properties. Pruning, mulching, weeding, cutbacks, and cleanups on a regular schedule and as needed.
• •Assist with landscape install and tree work as needed/seasonally.
• •Work well independently as well as on a team while caring for customer properties.
• •Interact professionally with customers on a daily basis communicating the process and expectations of services.
• •Possess a general knowledge of plant maintenance practices.
• •Continue on the job training for all aspects of RYAN provided services along with recommendations for other RYAN services as needed on their property.

Requirements

• •3 years’ experience in landscape plant maintenance or related field
• •High school diploma, (Horticulture degree preferred)
• •Working knowledge of plant identification, proper pruning and common issues by species
• •Commercial applicator's license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
• •Valid driver's license
• •Ability to obtain DOT medical certification
• •Ability to lift 50lbs
• •Ability to push/pull objects while walking up to 3 miles a day
