Position Overview

The Laundry Assistant helps maintain a clean, comfortable environment by ensuring linens and personal clothing are properly cleaned, handled, and distributed.

What You'll Do

Wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and elders' personal clothing.
Follow infection prevention and proper laundry handling procedures.
Operate laundry equipment safely and maintain a clean workspace.
Ensure personal belongings are handled with care and returned appropriately.
Maintain linen supplies and communicate equipment or supply needs.

Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.
Dependability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
Ability to perform the physical responsibilities of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
A positive attitude and commitment to elder dignity and comfort.
