About the Team:

The Data Management Analyst supports enterprise data operations through data analysis, stewardship activities, data quality monitoring, issue investigation, and operational reporting.'

This role partners with Data Stewards, Business SMEs, Technology teams, and Data Governance teams to ensure customer and organizational master data is accurate, complete, and consistent across enterprise systems.

The Analyst is responsible for monitoring data quality, performing data investigations and reconciliations, supporting stewardship operations, producing operational metrics, and identifying opportunities to improve data processes and governance controls.

Key Responsibilities

Data Operations & Stewardship Support

• •Support customer and organization master data maintenance activities and remediation requests.
• •Analyze and validate data changes submitted through stewardship and operational requests/ tickets .
• •Monitor operational queues and assist in meeting SLA commitments.
• •Perform production remediation/validation and data verification following releases and deployments.
• •Support Stewards with merge, unmerge, hierarchy management, survivorship, and data correction activities.
• •Assist Data Stewards with data investigations and issue resolution.

Data Quality Analysis

• •Monitor Critical Data Elements (CDEs) and Data Quality KPI dashboards.
• •Perform data profiling, reconciliations, and completeness assessments.
• •Investigate duplicate records, matching exceptions, and master data anomalies.
• •Identify, document, and track data quality issues through remediation.
• •Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on recurring data quality defects.
• •Collaborate with business and technology teams to resolve data inconsistencies.

MDM Data Analysis & Reporting

• •Create and maintain stewardship, operational, and data quality reports.
• •Analyze request volumes, SLA performance, backlog trends, and quality metrics.
• •Develop ad hoc analyses to support governance and operational decisions.
• •Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements.
• •Support dashboard development and KPI reporting for leadership.

MDM Process /UI Support

• •Document operational procedures, business rules, and stewardship workflows.
• •Support implementation of data governance controls and standards.
• •Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-production validation activities.
• •Participate in governance reviews, data quality assessments, and issue management processes.
• •Recommend process improvements based on analysis findings.

BU/Funtional Support ( P3 role )

• •Provide support to business users, Data Stewards, and Technology teams.
• •Participate in governance meetings and operational reviews.
• •Support training and onboarding activities for stewardship users.
• •Serve as a liaison/ops support between business and technology teams during data investigations.

Experience

• •4-7 years of experience in Data Analysis, Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Operations, or Enterprise Data Management.
• •Experience performing complex data investigations and root cause analysis.
• •Experience supporting enterprise data governance and stewardship initiatives.
• •Experience developing metrics, dashboards, and operational reporting.
• •Experience supporting large-scale data management programs preferred.

Responsibilities

P3 Senior Data Analyst

• •Independently conducts complex data analysis and issue investigations.
• •Leads data quality assessments and root cause analyses.
• •Coordinates cross-functional resolution of data issues.
• •Develops advanced reporting and KPI frameworks.
• •Supports governance initiatives and process improvement efforts.
• •Mentors junior analysts and provides guidance on analytical techniques and data management best practices.

Good to Have

Customer / Finance Domain Knowledge

• •Familiarity with customer, organizational, financial, and reference data domains.
• •Experience supporting regulated financial services environments.

Analytical & Technical Skills

• •Strong SQL querying and data analysis skills.
• •Data profiling, reconciliation, and validation experience.
• •Root cause analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
