Lead Product Designer - Product & Experience

The Role
Capco is a global technology and business consultancy focused on the financial services and energy sectors. Our designers translate strategy into intuitive digital products and engaging customer experiences, transforming businesses and impacting millions of users around the world.
We are seeking experienced Product Design leaders who will shape the future of financial services by guiding transformative projects, partnering with clients to deliver innovative solutions, and supporting teams to create experiences used at scale. You'll also help clients embrace AI-enabled ways of working, ensuring emerging technologies are applied responsibly to create meaningful customer and business outcomes.
What You’ll Do
Lead complex customer experience and design engagements, aligning business goals with user-centred product opportunities.
Partner with clients to shape product vision, design strategy, and experience roadmaps.
Identify opportunities to apply AI, automation, and data-informed design approaches to deliver meaningful business and user outcomes.
Contribute to the evolution of Capco’s design methodologies, including responsible AI and human-centred design practices where appropriate.
Support and mentor designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and high-quality delivery.
What We’re Looking For
Demonstrated experience leading UX/UI design initiatives within consulting, agency, or in-house environments.
Strong understanding of digital product development, agile methodologies, and stakeholder collaboration.
Ability to communicate ideas clearly and influence decisions across a range of stakeholders.
Experience working across the end-to-end design lifecycle, from discovery through to delivery, with an appreciation of AI-enabled product experiences.
A collaborative mindset with a focus on inclusive, user-centred design and curiosity about how AI can enhance customer experiences responsibly.
Bonus Points For
Experience contributing to or scaling design systems and UX frameworks.
Knowledge of behavioural science, human factors, or experimental design approaches.
Familiarity with AI-enabled design tools or emerging AI technologies.
Experience working with cross-functional teams including data and engineering.
Background in financial services or other regulated industries.
