About This Role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Manager to help shape the digital customer experience for branded card products. This strategic individual contributor will define future-state roadmaps and lead enterprise initiatives involving customer-facing digital communications, fraud awareness, application experiences, and other active customer efforts.
The ideal candidate is a self-directed, critical thinker who can identify opportunities, develop business cases, translate complex needs into actionable plans, and influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners. In This Role, You Will:
- Develop and drive the strategy and roadmap for customer-facing digital communications and experiences.
- Lead large, complex enterprise initiatives from issue identification and business-case development through implementation and launch.
- Evaluate opportunities, determine the appropriate delivery path, and coordinate work with product, technology, and capability partners.
- Translate business needs into clear requirements and executable plans.
- Identify customer-experience improvements using reporting, operational insights, and performance data.
- Establish tracking and reporting to monitor milestones, dependencies, implementation progress, and post-launch results.
- Present issues, recommendations, and strategic proposals to executive leaders to gain alignment and move initiatives forward.
- Partner across Product, Digital, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Fraud, Acquisitions, and other stakeholder groups.
- Proactively surface risks, ask thoughtful questions, resolve ambiguity, and maintain momentum across competing priorities.
- Provide leadership across initiatives and serve as a resource or mentor to less experienced team members.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience developing product strategies and multiyear roadmaps for digital customer experiences.
- Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a large enterprise environment.
- Ability to independently identify problems, recommend changes, and build plans with minimal direction.
- Strong business-case development, requirements translation, and executive presentation skills.
- Experience using reporting and performance measures to track implementation progress and outcomes.
- Ability to influence partners and leaders without direct authority.
- Experience partnering with Product, Technology, Digital, Legal, Compliance, Fraud, or Marketing teams.
- Strong critical-thinking, communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Financial services, credit card, branded card, or digital communications experience is beneficial but not required.
