Celonis is the trusted platform to industrialize Enterprise AI. At our core is the Celonis Context Model — which combines process data, business knowledge, and intelligence into a living digital twin of the enterprise that AI can actually understand, turning AI's operational blind spots into operational clarity. World's leading companies trust Celonis and its global ecosystem of partners to make their AI agents, people, systems, and processes work together, achieving transformational outcomes. We believe there's a massive opportunity to unlock global productivity and sustainability by giving AI the context to understand how every business process really works. Join our mission to make processes work for people, companies, and the planet.
The Team:
Every Celonis outcome starts with data. As a Solutions Architect, you make sure our customers’ data gets into the Celonis Platform reliably, securely, and at scale, and that insights and actions flow back out into the systems and AI tools where work actually happens.
The Role:
In this role you will work across diverse enterprise source systems such as SAP, Salesforce, and cloud databases, with a strong focus on the Oracle technology ecosystem. You will drive data extraction from Oracle environments (Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Database and Autonomous Database) and build integrations with Oracle’s AI and automation infrastructure.
You will own complex, highly customized integration projects end to end, anticipate blockers before they surface, and shape the best long-term solution together with the customer and Celonis internal teams. You are a trusted technical advisor to customer IT, data, and security leaders, and a go-to partner for colleagues across Services, Product & Engineering, and Go-to-Market.
Beyond day-to-day delivery, you invest part of your time in growing the SA practice: building reusable assets, and driving small initiatives that advance team strategy, including our Oracle integration playbooks.
The work you’ll do:
Lead complex data integration and ingestion
Own Oracle data extraction. Architect and deliver ingestion from Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Oracle EBS R12, and Oracle Database / Autonomous Database, including JDBC and PL/SQL-based approaches, while understanding the underlying business processes in these systems.
Build real-time and CDC integrations. Design change data capture and event-driven architectures using Oracle GoldenGate, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Kafka, and REST/SOAP APIs, and use them to power Celonis Action Flows.
Deliver Oracle ERP and other enterprise connections. Lead Oracle ERP connections or cloud based equivalents (e.g. via Oracle BICC). Deliver customized JDBC setups, including Dockerized and real-time configurations.
Build and own custom API connectors. Design advanced connectors, including complex authentication, pagination, and delta loads, and advise on API design topics such as synchronous versus asynchronous APIs and OData.
Architect push-based and lakehouse pipelines. Lead Python-based pipelines with Celonis data ingestion API with data engineering and SDLC best practices, and design Landing Zone and lakehouse solutions (for example Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric), including zero copy solutions.
Solve hard infrastructure problems. Work with customer IT on DMZs, network bridges, WAFs, proxies, certificates, on-premise agent deployments, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) networking.
Keep pipelines healthy. Tune extraction schedules and delta strategies, optimize database and pipeline performance (for example on Oracle DB and Exadata), and resolve data load failures so customers get timely, trustworthy data.
Actions, automation, and AI connectivity
Deliver advanced writebacks and automation. Configure Action Flows with customized agent settings and direct API-based integrations, including writebacks into Oracle systems, and advise on bot integrations, permissioning, and security.
Connect Celonis to enterprise AI. Design AI integration patterns that connect Celonis Orchestration and Action Flows with OCI Generative AI Agents, Oracle Select AI (Database 23ai), or Oracle Digital Assistant, and guide customers in connecting Celonis to their LLMs and AI agents through MCP, covering authentication, permissions, and governance.
Identity, security, and governance
Own authentication and provisioning. Configure SSO (SAML, OIDC) with identity providers such as OCI IAM, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, and Ping, and set up SCIM-based user and group provisioning.
Lead security conversations. Coordinate with the Celonis security team on customer questionnaires, answer questions confidently on live calls, and explain architecture and data flows to customer security and compliance stakeholders.
Customer and team impact
Act as a trusted advisor. Recommend solutions that set the customer up for long-term success, knowing when to build the ideal setup and when to compromise, drawing on best practices in data management, ETL, streaming, and project management.
Be a recognized expert. Build deep expertise in Oracle integrations and other product areas, give structured feedback to Product & Engineering on Oracle connectors and AI agent capabilities, and become a source of trust for product managers and engineers.
Advance team strategy. Set up and run initiatives such as knowledge bases and best-practice libraries (for example Oracle integration templates): define goals and success criteria, document the plan, and hold yourself and others accountable.
The qualifications you need:
8+ years of experience in data engineering, technical consulting, or solutions architecture in a customer-facing role, including leading customer implementations.
Oracle data engineering experience: hands-on experience extracting data from and understanding business processes in Oracle systems (Fusion Cloud ERP, Oracle EBS R12, Oracle Database / Autonomous Database), with PL/SQL and Oracle SQL skills.
Oracle Cloud: experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and its integration and data services such as Oracle Integration Cloud, alongside familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
Python and SQL skills, and ETL pipeline creation for large volumes of enterprise data, including migration scripting and custom transformations.
Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, authentication patterns, and API design concepts (synchronous and asynchronous APIs, OData).
Network and security fluency at the level needed to engage customer enterprise IT (DMZ, WAF, proxies, certificates, VPNs), plus comfort with Linux environments.
Excellent communication and storytelling across written, verbal, and slide formats, tailored to technical and executive audiences, and fluency in English.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
Experience with Oracle Exadata, Oracle Select AI (Database 23ai), Oracle Digital Assistant, or Oracle Analytics.
Familiarity with SAP (ECC/S/4HANA, PI/PO, SNC, RISE, CPI, BTP) or other enterprise ERPs.
Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric, and with iPaaS or low-code tools (MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, Power Automate).
Experience with LLMs, AI agents, or MCP.
Docker and Linux server administration experience.
Relevant certifications (Celonis, Oracle/OCI, cloud, or SAP).
What Celonis can offer you:
Pioneer Innovation: Work with the global leader in Process Mining and the Process Intelligence Graph to shape the future of AI-driven business operations.
Ownership from Day 1: Every full-time "Celonaut" is an owner, receiving Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) and merit-based refresh grants.
Unrivaled Family Support: Benefit from our inclusive parental leave policy—24 weeks of fully paid leave for primary carers and 12 weeks for supporting carer
