Are you a seasoned solutions architect who thrives at the intersection of business strategy, enterprise architecture, and cutting-edge order management technology? We're looking for a Lead Solutions Architect to drive the design and delivery of large-scale omnichannel commerce solutions that power exceptional customer experiences across digital, retail, marketplace, and B2B channels.

In this highly visible leadership role, you'll partner with clients, executives, and delivery teams to architect enterprise Order Management System (OMS) solutions, shape technical strategy, and lead complex digital transformation initiatives from concept through production.

What You'll Do

Lead Enterprise Architecture

  • Own end-to-end OMS solution architecture, integrations, data flows, and technical roadmap development.
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable, resilient enterprise solutions.
  • Conduct client workshops and guide stakeholders through architecture decisions, tradeoffs, and implementation strategies.

Drive Omnichannel Innovation

  • Design and optimize order orchestration, inventory visibility, fulfillment, returns, and customer service processes.
  • Architect solutions supporting BOPIS, ship-from-store, ship-to-store, marketplace fulfillment, drop ship, and multi-node fulfillment models.
  • Build scalable solutions that improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.

Lead Technical Delivery

  • Provide architectural leadership throughout the full software development lifecycle.
  • Mentor engineering teams, lead design reviews, and establish technical standards and best practices.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, reliability, security, and production readiness.

Act as a Trusted Client Advisor

  • Present complex technical concepts to executive audiences with clarity and confidence.
  • Support solution proposals, estimations, and strategic client engagements.
  • Influence enterprise technology decisions that shape long-term business success.

What We're Looking For

Required Experience

  • 18+ years of experience in enterprise application development and solution delivery.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling OMS or comparable enterprise OMS platforms.
  • 5+ years of architecture leadership experience delivering large-scale enterprise programs.
  • Proven success leading at least two enterprise OMS implementations through production launch.
  • Strong expertise in Java, REST APIs, XML, JSON, SQL, integrations, and distributed systems.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with IBM Sterling Intelligent Promising, Inventory Visibility, Order Hub, Store Engagement, or Call Center.
  • Integration experience with SAP, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce, Shopify, or other enterprise commerce platforms.
  • Experience with cloud modernization, SaaS migrations, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or enterprise transformation initiatives.
  • Architecture certifications, IBM Sterling credentials, or contributions to technical communities.

You'll Be Successful If You Are...

  • ✅ A strategic thinker who can connect business goals to technical solutions.
  • ✅ A confident client-facing leader with executive presence.
  • ✅ A hands-on architect who enjoys solving complex systems challenges.
  • ✅ A mentor who develops talent and elevates engineering teams.
  • ✅ Passionate about transforming commerce and supply chain experiences at enterprise scale.

Why Join Us?

You'll have the opportunity to lead some of the most complex commerce and fulfillment transformations in the industry, working alongside talented teams and influential stakeholders to build solutions that impact millions of customers. If you're ready to shape enterprise architecture, drive innovation, and become a trusted advisor to some of the world's leading brands, we'd love to hear from you.
