Qualifications

Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence

Clean Driver's Abstract (current within the last 30 days)

Minimum of 2 years of tank truck/fluid hauling experience preferred

Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Experience working in industrial, environmental, or oilfield settings is considered an asset

Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain your equipment in a safe, professional, and efficient manner

Adhere to all Vertex, client, provincial, and federal safety policies, procedures, and regulations

Participate in daily safety activities including FLRAs, hazard assessments, pre-trip and post-trip inspections, toolbox talks, and safety meetings

Work collaboratively with customers, contractors, dispatch personnel, and fellow team members

Ensure all mandatory training, certifications, and safety requirements remain current

Complete routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment cleanliness, reliability, and compliance

Accurately complete and submit all required paperwork and documentation, including daily logs, manifests, and inspection reports

Maintain compliance with applicable transportation, environmental, and operational regulations

Travel to customer sites and work in various weather and site conditions

Support operational requirements that may include fluctuating schedules, emergency response work, and peak workload periods

Safely handle and lift tools, equipment, and materials as required
