We are currently hiring for a Bankruptcy Legal Assistant/Paralegal!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with the research and preparation of legal pleadings for Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases.
  • Monitor cases through court dockets, ensuring all court deadlines are met.
  • Keep case management system and client communication systems updated with current status of cases.
  • Communicate with outside parties during entire bankruptcy process.
  • Develop and maintain congenial relationships with business associates and clients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients at every level of interaction.
  • Provide support to attorneys in a high volume, time sensitive atmosphere.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Paralegal Certification preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience in an office setting preferred. Prior legal support or bankruptcy experience a plus but not required.
  • Ability to navigate and multi-task through multiple systems.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • High-level proficiency in MS Office suite.

Schedule, Compensation & Benefits:
