Licensed Insurance Customer Representative (Florida 4-40)

Description

We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused Insurance Agent (Florida 4-40 Licensed Customer Representative) to join our team!

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of Property & Casualty insurance, particularly Personal and Commercial Auto insurance. In this role, you will assist customers with their insurance needs, support sales activities, process policy transactions, and maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with Florida insurance regulations.

Requirements

• •Active Florida 4-40 Customer Representative License (Required).
• •Completion of DFS approved designation course (exam waived)
• •Basic knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance, particularly Personal and Commercial Auto.
• •Bilingual in English and Spanish (Preferred).
• •Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• •Assist customers with insurance inquiries, policy information, and coverage-related questions.
• •Support insurance sales activities, including preparing quotes and assisting with policy documentation.
• •Process policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and payments.
• •Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in agency management systems.
• •Assist with policy renewals and customer retention efforts.
• •Provide professional and timely customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• •Ensure all insurance transactions and documentation comply with Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS) regulations.
• •Identify and escalate potential compliance concerns, suspicious transactions, or fraudulent activities.
• •Collaborate with insurance agents and team members to ensure efficient daily operations.
• •Follow up on customer requests and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
