• What You’ll Be Doing
• As an LVT in our ER, you’ll be hands-on with advanced, meaningful medicine every shift, including:

• •Placement of IV catheters
• •Monitoring anesthesia and patient vitals on critically ill patients
• •Drawing blood and running diagnostics
• •Critical thinking in fast-paced emergency situations
• •Administering and monitoring blood transfusions
• •Managing feeding tubes and critically ill patients
• •Performing accurate medical math and medication calculations

What We’re Looking For

• •Active License for Veterinary Technician in the state of Michigan
• •Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an LVT or minimum of 5 years as a veterinary assistant if newly licensed
• •Comfortable and confident in-patient care and customer service
• •Strong attention to detail and excellent medical math skills
• •Calm under pressure with a team-first mindset
• •Willingness to rotate overnights , weekends , and holidays
