Ready to Make a Splash?

All applicants must successfully complete a basic lifeguard skills assessment, including:

• •A 150-yard swim, 2-minute tread, and 50-yard swim sequence.
• •American Red Cross lifeguarding rescue skills and demonstrations.

Pay: $20 per hour

Responsible for monitoring and ensuring a safe and friendly environment for all of the aquatic facility members and guests.

What You’ll Do

• •Keep swimmers safe by actively monitoring the pool and surrounding aquatic areas.
• •Help maintain a welcoming environment by explaining and enforcing pool rules.
• •Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies.
• •Perform routine pool chemical testing to help maintain safe water conditions.
• •Participate in required staff meetings and training sessions.
• •Deliver friendly, professional customer service to patrons of all ages.
• •Support the aquatics team with additional duties as needed.

What You’ll Need

• •Must be at least 15 years old .
• •Hold a current American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification .
• •Meet HealthFitness fitness and skill standards.
• •Be dependable, attentive, and ready to work as part of a team.
• •Have a positive attitude and strong people skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patrons of all ages.

Compensation: $18 - $20/hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
