We are looking for a dedicated Lifting Technician to join our team in Burnie! This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading industrial solutions provider!

As a Lifting Technician, you’ll be responsible for inspecting, testing, repairing, and maintaining lifting equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. You’ll work closely with customers to provide expert advice and solutions, ensuring their lifting equipment is reliable and safe to use.

Key Responsibilities :
- Perform inspections, testing, and certification of lifting equipment, including chains, slings, hoists, and other lifting gear.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on lifting equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Provide technical advice and support to customers regarding lifting solutions and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and certifications.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian Standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate lifting solutions.
- Uphold a strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Who are you:
- Can do attitude with a strong work ethic
- Knowledge of Australian Standards related to lifting equipment and safety (e.g., AS 4991, AS 1418).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- High attention to detai l and commitment to quality.
- Current driver’s license is essential
- A commitment to safety and compliance.
