The Farmhouse Restaurant, located inside The Barn Resort is hiring experienced and passionate chefs/culinarians/cooks who are seeking opportunities to take their culinary skills to the next level. We're on the lookout for dedicated Line Cooks to join our dynamic kitchen team and be a crucial part of our exciting culinary journey!

• •Proven experience as a Line Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• •Proficiency in various cooking techniques and a strong understanding of food safety practices.
• •Ability to work well under pressure and maintain high standards of quality during busy services.

What You'll Be Doing

• •Set up and stock kitchen stations with all necessary supplies
• •Prepare food
• •Clean and maintain the kitchen and its equipment
• •Comply with all food-handling, safety, and sanitation guidelines as provided
• •Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working cooperatively with staff and guests

Requirements

Requirements

• •High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• •3+ years working knowledge of kitchen equipment and its proper usage is preferred
• •ServSafe® Certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment
• •Willingness to learn and follow the direction of the Kitchen and General managers and be a team player
• •3+ years previous experience as a cook is preferred. Experience in catering, buffet, and/or full-menu dining is a plus.

Work Environment

• •Operates in a kitchen/prep area environment
• •Moderate to loud noise
• •Frequent exposure to variable temperature changes and steam

Physical Demands

• •Ability to Bend, Squat, Run & Physically React in a Prompt Manner
• •Ability to use hands and fingers in grasping, pinching, chopping, pulling, and lifting motions associated with preparing and cooking products using knives, utensils and cookware
• •Ability to Lift 50 lbs.
• •Ability to stand for very long periods of time
