Position Overview

SRCOG LLC DBA Shining Rock Golf Club is seeking a dependable, motivated, and team-oriented Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Seasonal Line Cook plays a critical role in delivering a high-quality food experience for our members and guests across daily dining, tournaments, private events, and special functions. This position requires consistency, attention to detail, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.

Seasonal positions are defined as roles inside of our primary season of April 20th- October 19th 2026.

Part Time Roles are roles that work less than 29 hours a week

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards

Set up and stock assigned stations with necessary supplies

Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation throughout shift

Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards

Assist with banquet and tournament food preparation as needed

Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines (ServSafe standards preferred)

Properly store and label food items to maintain freshness and compliance

Assist with receiving deliveries and rotating inventory

Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service

Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times

Requirements

Qualifications

Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred (restaurant, club, or banquet environment)

Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques

Ability to work efficiently under pressure

Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

ServSafe certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
