Insurance Claim HQ is seeking a Texas Property Litigation Paralegal to join our growing Plaintiff Property Litigation practice. This role is ideal for an experienced legal professional who enjoys taking ownership of their work, staying ahead of deadlines, communicating with clients, and working closely with attorneys to move cases forward.
Our practice represents insureds in disputes involving storm damage, fire losses, water losses, and other significant property insurance claims. We are looking for a paralegal who is passionate about helping clients, comfortable in a litigation environment, and committed to providing exceptional case support and client service.

What You'll Do
As a Texas Property Litigation Paralegal, you’ll work closely with our attorneys to advocate for policyholders throughout the litigation process. You’ll play an important role in keeping cases organized, moving litigation forward, and ensuring our clients receive consistent, proactive communication and support.
Our practice represents insureds in disputes involving storm damage, fire losses, water losses, and other significant property insurance claims. You’ll work on meaningful cases while gaining hands-on experience with Texas property litigation.
Specifically, you will:
Manage assigned Texas property-casualty litigation matters from pre-suit through resolution, keeping cases organized, moving forward, and on schedule.
Monitor and calendar litigation deadlines, court dates, hearings, depositions, mediations, and other critical case events.
Maintain complete, accurate, and well-organized electronic case files in Filevine.
Prepare, draft, proofread, and organize pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, correspondence, and other litigation documents for attorney review.
Assist with drafting and responding to written discovery, including requests for production, interrogatories, and requests for admissions.
Coordinate service and filing of documents and assist with Texas e-filing requirements.
Coordinate with clients, insurance representatives, contractors, public adjusters, experts, and other third parties as needed.
Maintain regular, proactive communication with clients , providing meaningful updates on case status, upcoming milestones, outstanding documents, and next steps.
Collect information and documentation from clients and consistently follow up on outstanding items.
Take a proactive approach to case management , anticipating what each case needs next, identifying potential issues, and communicating concerns to the appropriate attorney or team member.
Collaborate closely with attorneys and other members of the litigation team to help achieve the best possible outcome for our clients.
Obtain world domination.
What You Need
1+ year of Texas civil litigation experience (Required).
Hands-on experience working with Texas civil litigation matters is required.
Property & Casualty litigation experience is strongly preferred.
Personal Injury or other relevant civil litigation experience will also be considered.
Experience working with Texas courts, procedures, pleadings, deadlines, and litigation processes.
Strong understanding of the litigation process and the ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines.
A proactive mindset and the ability to anticipate what a case needs next rather than waiting to be assigned every task.
Strong client communication skills and a commitment to keeping clients informed throughout their cases.
Experience drafting and reviewing legal documents.
Experience with pleadings, discovery, and other litigation-related documents.
Location
Our preference is for candidates located in the Greater New Orleans area who can work in our Metairie office.
However, we are open to Texas-based candidates who have the required Texas civil litigation experience and are otherwise a strong fit for the position.

Salary: $55,000–$75,000 per year
