Description

Support the Production of World-Class Bovine Genetics

Select Sires, Inc. is seeking a Livestock Technician to join our production team in Westby, Wisconsin. This position plays a critical role in supporting cattle handling, semen collection, and production activities that help deliver industry-leading dairy and beef genetics to producers throughout the United States and around the world. Starting wage is $19.00+ per hour.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time, hourly, non-exempt position
  • Monday through Friday schedule 5:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
  • Holiday, evening, and weekend work may be required on a rotating basis.
  • Work schedules and responsibilities may be adjusted to support business and production needs.

What You'll Do

  • Collect semen using established safety protocols.
  • Handle bulls in a manner that properly stimulates semen collection.
  • Feed, clean, move, and monitor dairy and beef cattle.
  • Support health testing, veterinary treatments, and hoof-trimming activities.
  • Operate company vehicles, trucks, trailers, and farm equipment.
  • Maintain facilities, equipment, and work areas.
  • Follow all biosecurity, safety, and production quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively to achieve production goals.
