Job Summary: The Locker Room Attendant creates a welcoming, well-run locker room experience for guests at Palisades Tahoe. Attendants sell and renew lockers, ticket and season pass sales, keep the locker rooms clean and in working order, answer guest questions about the mountain and resort services, and enforce locker room policies. Our goal is to share our passion for adventure and give every guest extraordinary service.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Hourly:
The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC’s hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.
Base hourly pay range: $20.00-25.92 per hour

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:
- Guest Service
- Provide superior, friendly, and positive customer service to every guest.
- Answer guest questions accurately about weather, daily operations, service locations, special events, tuning services, programs, bus schedules, and general mountain information.
- Sales and Transactions
- Explain locker options, rates, and rental terms to guests, and help them choose the right fit.
- Sell lockers, tickets, and tuning services, and promote related products and services.
- Process payments accurately, ensure forms and agreements are completed correctly, and follow point-of-sale procedures.
- Notify guests about upcoming lease expirations and assist with renewals.
- Locker Room Operations
- Check locker rooms daily, as required, for cleanliness, safety, and resolve locker-related problems.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to resolve cleaning and repair issues.
- Clear snow and ice from locker room entrances and walkways as needed.
- Policies and Safety
- Maintain thorough knowledge of locker room policies and rules.
- Educate guests on locker room policies and enforce them consistently and courteously.
Competencies and Job Requirements:
- Age 18 or older.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and safety awareness.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Accuracy and honesty in handling payments, and paperwork.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and stay composed with upset or frustrated guests.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Punctuality and ability to report at the scheduled start time.
- Neat, clean appearance in compliance with company grooming standards.
Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, and hear. Must be capable of walking or standing 80% or more of a typical 8-hour work shift. Must be capable of occasionally carrying, lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 25lbs. This job's specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions:
Indoor/Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions, including snow removal.
Hazardous Materials/Noise: The noise level in the workplace is usually moderate.

Education and Experience
Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Six months of customer service experience.
Preferred
- Knowledge of Palisades Tahoe Ski Resort.
- Experience with RTP software or other point-of-sale systems.
A Motor Vehicle Record review may be required as part of your job.
