As a Logistics Coordinator your goal is to coordinate our customers' movements by finding a qualified carrier to move their freight to meet all of their needs. You will be in direct contact with carriers to provide updates and negotiate rates on a daily basis. Being professional and courteous at times will be very important to your success.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures

Call on available loads to secure coverage

Book, track, and trace all shipments from cradle to grave

Provide customer service and timely updates through phone and email correspondence

Negotiate carrier pay on all shipments

Collect and scan in all required paperwork

Requirements:

Ability to think creatively to find solutions

Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and other Modern Office Technology

Prior customer service experience is a plus

Education:

High school diploma or GED required

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, supply chain, transportation and logistics or similar field is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $38,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
