LOGISTICS SPECIALIST II

Job Profile Summary:

Provides administrative and clerical support to the traffic operations function of an organization.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• •Responsible for all aspects of routing, shipping, logging, and tracking of inbound and outbound orders.
• •Contacts transporters for freight pick-up and ensures that cargo is routed appropriately.
• •Communicates changes to routing and timelines.
• •Prepares and processes bills of lading (BOL) and other shipping documentation.
• •Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function.
• •Comply with the requirements of the company’s Quality Management System.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

• •High school diploma or equivalent
• •3+ years of related experience
• •Gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.
• •Proficiency in English, including the ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English, is required for this position.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

• •5+ years of related experience
• •Confident, team-oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
• •Self-managed and highly motivated
• •Displays integrity, reliability, empathy, and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements:

• •Remain in a stationary/seated position for an extended period.
• •Regularly required to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and other office machinery.
• •Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
• •The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds.
