Position Details:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Oncology

Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128

Schedule: Full-Time | 36 hours/Weekend/Nights

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $2,000 for part-time and full-time caregivers

Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Licensure:

• •Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• •Must hold and maintain a current LPN license in Missouri and meet all State Board of Nursing requirements
• •Comparable education experience and successful licensure may be considered

Experience:

New graduates and experienced LPNs welcome

Certifications:

• •Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire)
• •LPN-IV Certification completed prior to hire or within 3 months (up to 1 year based on unit requirements)

Physical Requirements:

• •Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
• •Significant bending, stooping, and patient lifting/turning with assistance
• •Ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs.
