LPN SPECIALIST OR MA SPECIALIST - CARDIOLOGY - FULL TIME

• THE IDEAL CANDIDATE NEED TO BE AN LPN OR A MEDICAL ASSISTANT
• Summary/Objective: Provide basic medical and nursing care. Ensure the comfort of patients, discuss health care with patients, and report status of patients to registered nurses and providers.

Essential Functions

• •Identifies and evaluates patient needs by way of telephone triage.
• •Administers medication including injections; documents medication given or prescribed by ordering physician as required.
• •Identifies patient and family education needs and provides instruction.
• •Recognizes and responds to emergency situations as appropriate.
• •Adheres to the Clinical Services policies and procedures when documenting information patient’s medical records
• •Facilitates the flow of patients to maintain the integrity of the physician’s office.
• •Assists the physician with medical office procedures.
• •Maintain the integrity of the office.
• •Assists with the flow of patients to maintain the integrity of the physician office and assists the physician with medical office procedures as needed.
• •Assists with hospital procedures and/or surgeries and coordinates scheduling surgical procedures.

LPN Specialist requirements are:

Required Education and Experience: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing. Must possess active Florida license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or

Preferred Education and Experience: Experience or training in a medical health care facility as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Gyn-Oncology experience preferred.

Medical Assistant Specialist Requirements are:

Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year of Medical Assistant work experience within the last 2 years. Medical Assistant Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment. Current BLS certification or to be completed within first 90 days of employment.
