Looking for a place to learn, grow, and take pride in your work?
At Permian Plastics, we're looking for dependable, motivated individuals who want to be part of a manufacturing team.
You don't need experience operating injection molding machines. You don't need a manufacturing background. What matters most is your willingness to learn, follow instructions, pay attention to details, and take responsibility for the work you do.
We provide the training. You bring the effort, attitude, and commitment to doing things the right way.
What You'll Do
As a Machine Operator, you'll help manufacture, inspect, and package plastic products for our customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operate and monitor assigned production equipment following training and established work instructions.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet customer quality requirements.
- Follow documented procedures for sorting, trimming, assembling, labeling, and packaging products.
- Recognize and report product defects, equipment concerns, and unsafe conditions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
- Communicate with your Supervisor and coworkers to keep production running smoothly.
- Learn new tasks and demonstrate your ability to perform them correctly and independently.
What Makes Someone Successful Here?
You follow instructions. You understand that our procedures exist for a reason. You follow them consistently, even when no one is watching.
You're willing to learn. You ask questions when something isn't clear, accept feedback, and apply what you've been taught.
You take initiative. You stay engaged, pay attention to your work, and look for ways to support your team without skipping steps or changing procedures.
You care about quality. You understand that the parts you produce matter to our customers. You pay attention to details and speak up when something doesn't look right.
You take accountability. You show up ready to work, communicate concerns, and take responsibility for completing your assigned work correctly.
You work as part of a team. You treat coworkers respectfully, communicate clearly, and understand that everyone's work contributes to the success of the shift.
