Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Machine Operator - at our New Hope, MN pasta production facility. We are offering a salary of $26.48 per hour.
Responsibilities:
Operate packaging equipment and tote stations according to product specifications, ensuring accurate weights, coding, and product quality.
Adjust, troubleshoot, clean, inspect, and perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to support efficient operation.
Complete and maintain accurate machine logs, downtime records, repair documentation, and work order requests as required.
Follow all health, safety, and fire prevention procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Able to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
Able to respond to alarms and resolve problems in a timely manner
Able to work well with teammates and communicate with all employees with respect and courtesy
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
Experience operating machines
Experience in a food manufacturing facility
Physical Requirements:
Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following, with or without reasonable accommodation:
Balance, stand, walk, perform simple grasping, and work in high heat/humidity for 12+ hours per shift
Lift up to 34 pounds for 12+ hours per shift, and up to 50 pounds for 10+ hours per shift
Bend, crouch, stoop, push, pull, perform fine manipulation, feel, and work in a dusty environment for 10+ hours per shift
Kneel, sit, reach above shoulders, and climb/work off ladder for 6+ hours per shift
Make fine distinctions in sound, distinguish objects and equipment visually, and express or exchange ideas by spoken or written word
