We are seeking a skilled Senior Associate Consultant with hands-on experience in Magnolia CMS to support the development, customization, and maintenance of enterprise digital experience platforms. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Magnolia architecture, content management, and integrations while working closely with technical and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Develop, customize, and maintain web solutions using Magnolia CMS.
Configure and manage Magnolia Author and Public instances.
Design and implement Light Modules, templates, components, dialogs, and content apps.
Develop custom modules using Java and integrate Magnolia with external systems through REST APIs.
Support content modeling, multi-site management, and digital asset management (DAM) integrations.
Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate Magnolia with React, Angular, or Vue.js applications.
Participate in technical design discussions and provide solutions aligned with business requirements.
Support deployment automation, CI/CD processes, and cloud-based implementations.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize platform performance.
Contribute to application documentation, code reviews, and best practices.
Technical requirements
3–5 years of overall experience in web content management or digital experience platforms.
Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Magnolia CMS.
Strong understanding of Magnolia architecture, content repositories, and authoring framework.
Experience with Magnolia Light Modules, templating, and component development.
Hands-on experience in Java, JCR, Freemarker, and REST API integrations.
Understanding of Magnolia REST and GraphQL capabilities.
Experience working with headless or hybrid CMS architectures.
Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Knowledge of Git, Maven, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
Additional responsibilities
Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience with content modeling, multi-site implementations, and personalization capabilities.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
Understanding of DAM integrations and enterprise content management ecosystems.
Exposure to digital transformation or CMS modernization initiatives.
