Job Description:

• •Other duties as assigned.
• •Complies with healthcare, federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
• •Performs building repairs.
• •Identifies proper tools for tasks and consults with appropriate personnel, as needed.
• •Ensures materials are readily available.
• •Completes preventive maintenance tasks and work orders in a timely manner and according to protocol.
• •Utilizes and completes computer-based work order software with demonstrated knowledge.
• •Visits assigned areas daily to solicit customer feedback.
• •Conducts walkthroughs in assigned areas to observe and correct repairs.
• •Uses proper safety procedures, including lockout/tag out personal protective equipment per policy.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• •Working knowledge of building systems, i.e., chillers, boilers, building automation, HVAC, fire alarm, etc. [Required]
• •Able to communicate in English. [Required]
• •Basic computer skills required. [Required]
• •Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents. [Required]
• •General knowledge of one of the following maintenance areas: Air conditioning, Plumbing, Electrical, fire alarm system, tube system, telephones, paging system, and the power plant systems. [Required]
• •Knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing within the Healthcare field [Preferred]
• •Knowledge of safe handling and maintenance of tools and equipment [Preferred]
• •Basic Microsoft Office computer skills [Preferred]

Education:

High School/Equivalent grad OR 5+ years experience [Required]

Work Experience:

3+ general maintenance experience [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

Driver's License (DL) [Required]

Pay Range:

• $19.96 - $37.11
• Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
