Requirements

Essential Functions:

• •Ensure the YMCA is attractive and clean by completing all duties listed on the daily schedule and maintains upkeep of assigned areas and equipment.
• •Wet and dust mopping, dusting, trash removal, recycling, window washing, and painting, vacuuming rooms, bathrooms, hallways, stairs, gym area and grounds.
• •Record and report all needed repairs; repair as directed.
• •Ensure YMCA building and property is secure during shift and report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• •Replace soap, paper towels, and other supplies.
• •Set up and breakdown of all functions and events.
• •Repair equipment as needed.
• •Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• •High School Diploma or equivalent.
• •Three (3) years or more, in general maintenance or related experience preferred.
• •Ability to interpret written instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• •Ability to report and record maintenance requests.
• •Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
• •Understanding of the upkeep and care of equipment.
• •Understanding of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.
