About The Role

This role will focus on leading, developing, and growing a high-performing maintenance team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role will be instrumental in establishing a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills and a passion for developing people, systems, and processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

• •Build, lead, and mentor a skilled maintenance team, including technicians, electricians, and support staff.
• •Develop and implement training programs and career paths to elevate individual and team capabilities.
• •Drive preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and increase equipment reliability.
• •Collaborate with production and engineering teams to plan and execute capital improvements and equipment upgrades.
• •Implement and manage a modern CMMS to streamline work orders, PMs, and asset history tracking.
• •Champion a safety-first mindset and ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA and company policies.
• •Monitor KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF, and PM completion rates, and take data-driven action to improve performance.
• •Manage budgets for labor, parts, and contractors while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• •Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts to address recurring issues.

Requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• •5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• •Proven track record in team building, performance management, and training program development.
• •Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• •Experience implementing and managing CMMS systems (Fiix, eMaint, etc.).
• •Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• •Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across departments

Preferred Qualifications:

• •Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and automation used in powder manufacturing lines.
• •Knowledge of Fiix or similar CMMS software.
• •CAD proficiency (SolidWorks or AutoCAD) for plant layout and equipment design support.
• •Strong knowledge of powder processing equipment: extruders, grinders, mixers, classifiers, bonding equipment, and sieving systems.
• •Proven experience leading capital projects from design through implementation
