Maintenance Mechanic 3rd shift

Description

Role & Responsibilities

• •Maintain production and quality standards by ensuring the proper operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
• •Perform equipment setup, adjustments, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• •Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues to minimize production downtime.
• •Support and maintain production equipment including ovens, packing lines, and conveyors.
• •Complete maintenance projects independently and efficiently.
• •Follow all safety, quality, and food manufacturing standards.

Requirements

Qualifications & Preferred Experience

• •High School Diploma or equivalent.
• •2–5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial bakery and/or food manufacturing environment preferred.
• •Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• •Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• •Experience with plumbing, pneumatics, hydraulics, and cutting equipment.
• •Service-oriented with strong responsiveness and communication skills.
• •Self-starter with the ability to work independently and complete projects from start to finish.
• •Process-oriented and methodical approach to maintenance activities.
• •Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• •Power Industrial Training Certification.
• •Electrical troubleshooting and PLC diagnostics.
• •Welding experience (MIG, TIG, and Stick).

Physical Requirements

• •Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• •Ability to walk, lift, climb, pull, push, carry, grasp, reach, twist, turn, and stoop throughout the shift.
• •Ability to frequently lift up to 60 pounds.
• •Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible hours as needed.
