Job Description

Role: Maintenance Planner / Scheduler

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Maintenance Planner / Scheduler to coordinate preventive, routine, repair, and emergency maintenance activities across the plant. This role will use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure that all maintenance work is effectively planned, scheduled, and executed with minimal disruption to operations.

Job Responsibilities

• •Plan and prepare maintenance work orders for scheduled and emergency maintenance activities
• •Coordinate required resources including labor, tools, and parts for efficient job execution
• •Develop weekly and outage work scopes for hourly maintenance personnel
• •Maintain and build equipment records, bill of materials, and asset data in CMMS
• •Create, schedule, and close out preventive maintenance (PM) tasks in CMMS
• •Continuously improve and adjust PM programs to maximize equipment uptime
• •Track and manage spare parts inventory and equipment documentation

Qualifications

• •Associate degree in a technical field preferred
• •Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance planning/scheduling in an industrial or manufacturing setting
• •Minimum 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• •Mechanical design experience is a plus
• •Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• •Strong computer skills and attention to detail
• •Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• •Strong organizational and planning abilities with the capability to manage multiple tasks
• •This is a safety sensitive position.
