Description

Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: South Bend, IN (on-site)

Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm
Compensation: Negotiable based on experience/fair market value
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Purpose & Scope: This role is responsible for performing maintenance and repair on all plastic injection molding machinery and equipment including robots, chillers, thermolators and hot running systems.

Essential Duties May Include:

Repairing, troubleshooting, and inspecting all mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
Performing preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on machines and robots according to specifications
Regularly checking heater bands, rings and pulling screws / barrels
Safely utilizing the proper equipment to access jobs to both remove and install parts

Requirements

Five plus (5+) years of previous experience repairing, troubleshooting, and inspecting all mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment related to injection molding machinery.
Performing preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on machines and robots according to specifications
Regularly checking heater bands, rings and pulling screws / barrels
Safely utilizing the proper equipment to access jobs to both remove and install parts
