Maintenance Technician - Full Time

• Position Overview We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support the maintenance, repair, and improvement of residential units, common areas, and building systems. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with broad technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to serving senior adults with professionalism and care.

How you will make an impact as a Maintenance Team Member:

• •Provide highly diversified duties related to installing and maintaining facility equipment, building structures, and grounds.
• •Fulfills service requests in a timely fashion.
• •Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities.
• •Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
• •Provide great customer service.

• Key Responsibilities
• •Perform general facility and unit maintenance across residential and common areas.
• •Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs.
• •Help with turnovers, including drywall repair, painting, flooring touch-ups, cabinetry adjustments, door and lock work, and hardware fixes.
• •Diagnose and troubleshoot basic HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues.
• •Perform root-cause analysis for recurring or complex issues.
• •Conduct safety checks on emergency lighting, alarms, exhaust systems, and mechanical equipment.
• •Document all work completed using maintenance logs and/or work-order systems.
• •Collaborate with maintenance staff, project teams and residents.

The role is Full time at 32 hours a week. Monday through Friday schedule on 2nd shift (12 pm - 8 pm) with a weekend rotation within the department.

Wage: Starting at $22/hour and goes up based on experience.

Requirements

• •Working knowledge of one or more skilled trades, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building systems.
• •Preferred experience in multi-unit residential, healthcare, hospitality, or institutional facilities.
