Select Sires, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our production operations team in Plain City, Ohio. This position plays a critical role in maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving facilities, equipment, and infrastructure that support the production of industry-leading dairy and beef genetics. This position helps ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations throughout the organization.

Work Schedule

• •Full-time position
• •Monday through Friday schedule
• •Occasional evening, weekend, holiday, or emergency call-in work may be required
• •Work schedules and responsibilities may be adjusted to support production and business needs

What You'll Do

• •Perform preventative maintenance on facilities, equipment, and infrastructure.
• •Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and operational issues.
• •Support production equipment reliability and performance.
• •Complete facility and grounds maintenance activities.
• •Maintain maintenance records and documentation.
• •Assist with facility improvement and capital projects.
• •Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and equipment performance.
• •Respond to maintenance requests and production support needs.
• •Follow all safety procedures, maintenance standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• •Technical certifications, vocational training, or maintenance-related education.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• •Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
