Mammographer / Radiologic Technologist II (Mammography) - FT/80

Description

The Mammographer will:

• •Perform mammographic and diagnostic radiographic procedures.
• •Perform daily check of work area.
• •Provide education for departmental staff.
• •Maintain professionalism and qualities consistent with a radiographer.
• •Demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities for age specific patient populations.
• •Perform diagnostic mammographic procedures.
• •Complete bone density exams.

Requirements

• •Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• •Current Radiologic Technologist license in Vermont in good standing.
• •Current Mammography certification from the American Registration of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(RT)(MA))
• •Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
• •Experience to demonstrate the knowledge base and experience to successfully complete breast procedures.
• •Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.).
• •Strong organizational skills.
• •Self-motivated and functions independently.
• •Demonstrates problem-solving and problem-prevention skills.
• •Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.

Salary Range: The base rate for this position is $36.00 - $45.99 per hour. The hourly range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The rate for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
