As a Management company Accounting Senior Associate you will support outsourced accounting processes that help clients manage finance operations, improve efficiency, and address day-to-day service needs. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex problems, manage assigned workstreams, build meaningful client connections, and mentor junior team members while navigating ambiguity and maintaining professional and technical standards within our Assurance practice. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Kolkata, you will execute data review, enrichment, and processing; monitor quality controls; respond to escalations and queries; and contribute to deliverables that support client service engagements and broader business objectives.

Responsibilities

• - Managing outsourced accounting workstreams across client finance operations, reporting cycles, and service delivery activities
• - Reviewing financial data, journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules to validate accuracy and completeness
• - Coordinating issue resolution for client queries, escalations, and process exceptions in a timely manner
• - Applying accounting knowledge to support Net Asset Value oversight, fund accounting, and financial reporting tasks
• - Monitoring quality control procedures, identifying process gaps, and recommending corrective actions
• - Documenting procedures, workflow updates, and control activities to support consistent service delivery
• - Interpreting data and operational metrics to identify trends, improve processing, and support informed decisions
• - Using digital tools and managed services platforms to streamline data review, enrichment, and transaction processing
• - Supporting compliance reviews and financial document review activities in complex operating environments
• - Mentoring junior team members, reviewing assigned work, and contributing to effective team performance

What You Must Have

- CA / CA Inter / CMA / ACCA / MBA (Finance).

- 4 to 6 years of corporate/advisory accounting experience with strong exposure to journal entries, account reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, and month-end close activities.

-Strong accounting and analytical skills, preferably with experience in Oracle/Essbase/Freeform, along with advanced MS Excel proficiency and the ability to investigate variances and perform financial analysis.

-Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate across global teams, and handle multiple deliverables under tight deadlines.
