• Introduction
• The Manager, Global Tax & Subsidies will report to the Director, Global Tax & Subsidies and be responsible for global tax reporting including tax accounting under IFRS and German/EMEA tax and related compliance.

Your Job

• •Prepare and review interim and annual global income tax provisions under IAS 12 Income Taxes, including current and deferred taxes and effective tax rate.
• •Prepare and review global tax account rollforward and income taxes payable reconciliation for Germany and other EMEA jurisdictions.
• •Manage Germany and other EMEA tax compliance and advisory matters.
• •Monitor the introduction of new tax legislation and accounting pronouncements to ensure compliance and correct income tax accounting.
• •Engage in corporate tax planning.
• •Prepare forecast effective tax rate guidance for internal and external stakeholders.
• •Partner with GF team members including FP&A, Accounting and Financial Reporting.

Required Qualifications

• •Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Master’s degree or equivalent preferred
• •8+ years of experience in taxation.
• •Tax experience in a public accounting firm or a combination of public accounting and public company experience preferred.
• •Analytical, strong business/commercial sense, team player, result-oriented with high levels of drive and initiative.
• •Effective workload prioritization and meeting of deadlines.
• •Good communication and interpersonal skills.
