Job Description
Reporting to the Head, Investment & Portfolio Management (International) of CLARML and based in Singapore, the incumbent will support CLARML's US , Europe and Australia portfolios through investment management, portfolio management and transaction execution activities, while partnering with country teams to drive portfolio performance and support growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support investment origination, evaluation and execution across the US , Europe and Australia portfolios, including acquisitions, divestments and strategic asset initiatives.
- Perform financial modelling, underwriting, valuation analysis and due diligence to support investment decision-making.
- Coordinate end-to-end transaction execution with country teams, brokers, consultants and legal advisers.
- Monitor portfolio and asset performance, identify value creation opportunities, and support asset management initiatives across both markets.
- Lead budgeting, business planning and forecasting activities, including revenue, operating expenditure (opex) and capital expenditure (capex) planning and variance analysis.
- Prepare portfolio, management and regulatory reporting, investment papers and Board materials.
- Support stakeholder engagement across country, asset management, finance and operations teams to drive portfolio performance and execution outcomes.
- Track market, industry and regulatory developments and provide insights on portfolio and investment implications.
- Leverage data analytics and digital tools to enhance reporting, business insights and decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in real estate investment, portfolio management, asset management, private equity, investment banking or a related field.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation and investment analysis skills, with exposure to transaction execution and due diligence.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, business planning and performance reporting.
- Good understanding of real estate investments and capital markets; experience in logistics, industrial , data centre or commercial real estate would be advantageous.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and geographies.
- Proactive, analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
