As Manager Group Planning & Forecasting, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial direction of the Group by delivering high-quality planning, forecasting and strategic analysis that informs key business decisions.

Financial Services partners with businesses across CommBank to provide specialist financial management and strategic advice. Within Group Financial Reporting & Analysis (FR&A), the Planning & Forecasting team is responsible for Group-wide planning, forecasting, performance reporting and strategic decision support.

This team works closely with senior leaders across the Group, providing insights that help optimise performance, capital allocation and long-term growth.

Your impact

You will help deliver the Group's annual planning process, monthly forecasts and strategic analysis that supports decision-making at the highest levels of the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering insightful analysis on Group revenue drivers, cost management, capital efficiency and risk-adjusted returns.
  • Managing and continuously improving Group planning and forecasting processes.
  • Leading automation and reporting transformation initiatives across the team.
  • Providing scenario modelling and forecasting to support the Group's financial outlook.
  • Building trusted relationships across Finance and business stakeholders to influence outcomes.
  • Supporting the delivery of strategic reporting and analysis for the Board, CEO, CFO and Executive Leadership Team.

We're interested in hearing from people who have

  • CA or CPA qualification.
  • Strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in financial planning, forecasting, performance reporting or commercial finance.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Advanced Excel skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Tableau, Alteryx or Power BI is advantageous.
  • A proactive risk mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
