About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of robust backend services. In this role, you will work extensively with Java, Spring Boot, and the Spring Framework to build scalable solutions that power critical applications.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing RESTful APIs, integrating backend services with frontend applications, and working across both SQL and NoSQL database technologies such as MongoDB and MSSQL. A strong focus will be placed on optimizing application performance and ensuring security best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle.

This role also involves close collaboration with DevOps teams, leveraging cloud services and modern tooling to deliver reliable, high-performing applications. You will use industry-standard tools for API testing, version control, and development to ensure quality and efficiency across the software development process.

Essential Job Functions

• •Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework
• •Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend applications
• •Work with MongoDB, MSSQL, and other NoSQL/SQL databases, including schema design, performance tuning, and indexing strategies
• •Optimize application performance and ensure adherence to security best practices
• •Use Postman for API testing and debugging
• •Collaborate with DevOps teams on deployment and infrastructure practices
• •Utilize AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, IAM, API Gateway, and ECS
• •Apply performance engineering practices, including application monitoring and optimization

Basic Qualifications:

• •Experience with REST API development using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC
• •Experience with Node JS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• •Proficiency with Postman and GIT
• •Proficient in using IDEs such as Eclipse
• •Experience with MongoDB and MSSQL, including schema design, performance tuning, and indexing strategies
• •Familiarity with performance engineering, application monitoring, and optimization

Other Qualifications

• •Basic knowledge of AWS services (S3, EC2, Lambda, IAM, API Gateway, ECS) is a plus
• •Knowledge of AWS common services and DevOps practices is a plus
