What You’ll Do

Lead and manage the global supply chain quality audit program for suppliers, contract manufacturers, co-manufacturers, and other external partners supporting food ingredient production and distribution.

Develop and maintain a risk-based audit strategy, including supplier risk ranking, audit scheduling, reporting standards, corrective action processes, and escalation procedures.

Conduct and oversee supplier audits and assessments to evaluate compliance with food safety, quality, regulatory, customer, and certification requirements.

Review audit findings, approve corrective action plans, monitor supplier performance, and drive timely resolution of nonconformances and identified risks.

Partner with Procurement, Operations, Regulatory Affairs, R&D, Logistics, Customer Quality, and site quality teams to support supplier qualification, sourcing decisions, product launches, and risk mitigation efforts.

Analyze supplier performance data, audit results, customer concerns, and emerging supply chain risks while providing leadership, coaching, and continuous improvement guidance across the organization.

What You’ll Bring

Five to ten years of experience in food manufacturing quality, food safety, supplier quality, regulatory compliance, or a related field.

At least three years of supplier quality experience, including working with suppliers, contract manufacturers, or co-manufacturers.

Experience conducting supplier audits, managing corrective actions, and evaluating food safety and quality management systems.

Strong knowledge of FSMA Preventive Controls, HACCP, GMPs, allergen management, FDA food regulations, and GFSI-recognized certification programs.

Strong project management, analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and global stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree in Quality, Food Science, Dietary Supplement Manufacturing, or a related field preferred. PCQI, HACCP, Lead Auditor, or similar certifications are highly valued.
