About your role

Juniper Square is seeking a high-impact sales leader to build and lead our Venture Capital sales team. This is a full-time people leadership role. You will lead a team of four quota-carrying Account Executives, drive new logo acquisition through your team, establish a repeatable GTM motion, and serve as one of Juniper Square’s most credible voices in the venture capital ecosystem.

You will own team performance, pipeline health, territory strategy, and forecasting accuracy. There will be a heightened focus on building Juniper Square’s technology motion into Venture Capital while continuing to grow our Fund Administration market share.

Key measurables include team ARR and logo quota attainment, people development, and iterating on the GTM playbook so we play defense against disruptors and offense against the incumbents.

What You'll Do

Lead, coach, and develop a team of quota-carrying Account Executives focused on the venture capital segment

Drive consistent quota attainment through structured pipeline reviews, deal coaching, and performance accountability

Instill a culture of urgency, rigor, and disciplined new logo execution

Identify performance gaps early and implement coaching plans to close them

Hire, onboard, and ramp high-performing Account Executives aligned to our ideal candidate profile

Ensure strong CRM hygiene, segmentation, and pipeline visibility across all active accounts

Set clear performance metrics for activity levels, conversion rates, and deal velocity

Deal Strategy & Sales Excellence

Coach reps on structured discovery, objection handling, competitive positioning, and deal strategy throughout the sales cycle

Inspect deals from prospecting through close, raising each team member’s sales acumen and execution quality

Train your team on the nuances of venture capital managers and how to build credibility with GP finance executives

Serve as executive sponsor on strategic and late-stage deals where your involvement can accelerate or secure a win

Ensure the team can confidently navigate pricing discussions, switching costs, and multi-stakeholder deal dynamics

VC Ecosystem & Market Coverage

Build and leverage relationships across VC firms, accelerators, and portfolio company networks to open doors for your team

Drive team presence at industry events and conferences to extend our network and generate pipeline

Provide competitive intelligence and VC market insights to product and executive leadership

Help define and evolve the VC coverage model as Juniper Square’s presence in the segment grows

Cross-Functional Partnership

Partner with Marketing on demand generation strategy, VC-specific positioning, and sales collateral

Collaborate with Partnerships to leverage ecosystem relationships for pipeline creation and referral channels

Contribute to overall VC GTM strategy in close partnership with Sales and executive leadership

Qualifications

8+ years of sales experience, including 3+ years managing quota-carrying sales teams

Proven track record of driving new logo acquisition through a team with repeatable, scalable GTM motions

Experience selling SaaS or technology solutions; financial services or fintech strongly preferred

Familiarity with the venture capital ecosystem, including VC fund structures, GP/LP dynamics, and how venture firms evaluate operational technology

Demonstrated success hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing Account Executives

Strong forecasting discipline and pipeline management rigor in complex sales environments

Comfortable operating in an emerging market coverage model where the playbook is still being defined

Ability to credibly engage VC firm stakeholders, including General Partners, CFOs, and Controllers, as a peer

Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; experience partnering with Marketing, Partnerships, and Sales Operations
