Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, Energy & Engineering Sectors

Hybrid, Finland

At Gartner, we guide the leaders who shape the world, equipping them with indispensable insights, advice, and tools to achieve mission critical priorities. Gartner Consulting is where that insight becomes action, helping the world's most influential enterprises and public sector leaders turn complexity into competitive advantage.

About the Role

As a Managing Partner in Gartner Consulting Finland, you will play a pivotal leadership role in growing Gartner's consulting presence and impact across Finland’s leading Manufacturing, Engineering and Energy companies.

This is a senior leadership position for an accomplished consulting executive with an established reputation in the Finnish market, a strong personal brand at the C-suite level, and a passion for helping clients address their most critical business challenges.

You will work alongside fellow partners in Finland, across the Nordics, and throughout EMEA to shape opportunities, build trusted executive relationships, and deliver transformative outcomes for clients. Rather than operating within a standalone portfolio, you will contribute to a shared client ecosystem, acting as lead partner for some strategic accounts while co-leading others in close collaboration with colleagues across Gartner's consulting, research, and advisory businesses.

The role combines business development, executive advisory, practice leadership, people development, and enterprise transformation expertise. While a strong understanding of the Finnish business ecosystem and industrial landscape is highly valuable, success in this role is equally dependent on the ability to lead through influence, develop talent, foster collaboration, and expand Gartner's long-term presence within the Finnish executive community.

What You Will Do

As a Managing Partner, you will operate at the intersection of executive leadership, business transformation, technology, and growth.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to the C-suite, business leaders, executives, and board-level stakeholders, helping them navigate growth, transformation, geopolitical uncertainty, technology disruption, and changing market conditions.

You will:

  • Build and strengthen relationships with senior executives across Finland's largest organisations, leveraging an active and credible C-suite network.
  • Collaborate with Gartner partners across Finland, the Nordics, and EMEA to identify opportunities, shape engagements, and deliver client impact.
  • Lead strategic client relationships while contributing to a broader shared portfolio model built on teamwork and collective success.
  • Bring together Gartner's world-class research, benchmarking capabilities, advisory expertise, and consulting services to solve mission-critical client challenges.
  • Shape and win complex consulting engagements and transformation programmes.
  • Guide executive teams through strategic, operational, digital, technology, and organisational transformation initiatives.
  • Act as a visible market leader, strengthening Gartner's profile within the Finnish executive community.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop consultants and future leaders, helping individuals achieve their professional potential.
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, collaboration, belonging, and high performance across the consulting team.
  • Support the growth of Gartner Consulting in Finland by contributing to recruiting, talent development, intellectual capital, and practice building initiatives.

What You Bring

  • University degree in business, engineering, technology, economics, public administration, defence studies, or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience as a senior consulting leader, partner, or executive advisor within a leading consulting or professional services organisation.
  • A well established and actively maintained network of C-suite executives, business leaders, and decision-makers across Finland.
  • Proven ability to build trusted executive relationships and develop long-term strategic client partnerships.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of originating, shaping, and growing large consulting engagements.

Demonstrated technology domain expertise across SAP/ERP, cloud, data, enterprise architecture, infrastructure and/or cybersecurity, with the ability to understand complex technology environments and translate them into relevant business outcomes.

  • Experience leading enterprise wide transformation programmes involving strategy, operations, technology, organisational change, or digital transformation.
  • Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing high-performing consulting teams.
  • A collaborative leadership style with a passion for building talent, fostering inclusion, and creating environments where people thrive.
  • Experience working across matrixed organisations and leading through influence rather than hierarchy.
  • Ability to work effectively across geographies, practices, and disciplines, leveraging diverse expertise to solve complex client challenges.
  • Experience working with manufacturing, industrial, technology, organisations is advantageous.
  • Adaptability and versatility, with the ability to work effectively across diverse industry sectors and build new relationships, even without prior sector specific experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Finnish and English.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within Finland and internationally when required.
