The Manufacturing Associate I reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and assists in performing all tasks involved in the production of Repligen’s fluid management products. These tasks may include, but are not limited to, kitting of parts, cutting of tubing and polymer film, reading design drawings, performing basic and complex assembly techniques, executing detailed visual inspections, operating manual and automated machinery, and completing packaging and labeling activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that the department’s safety, quality, and production goals are met.

This role is expected to model our Leadership Behaviors—Integrity & Compliance, Customer Focus, Collaboration, Courage, Team Empowerment, and Accountability & Results—in all aspects of work. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct basic and complex assembly techniques
  • Read manufacturing drawings and follow standard operating procedures of varying complexity
  • Perform detailed visual inspections on in-process and finished products
  • Package and label finished products
  • Work with a team in a fast-paced ISO certified cleanroom environment
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks as assigned
  • Cut tubing and polymer film to meet tolerances using both manual and automated tools
  • Safely operate cleanroom machinery by closely following the standard operating procedures
  • Perform inventory counts and report any inaccuracies in a timely manner
  • Complete documentation according to Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Learn the Repligen Performance System and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic arithmetic skills
  • Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality standards
  • Wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and adhere to chemical hygiene
  • Follow all safety protocols
  • Professional behaviors aligned with Repligen’s R-TEAM Values

Physical Requirements:

  • Perform assembly techniques for various products including repetitive motions such as forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, pulling, reaching, and bending
  • Ability to use various hand tools and assembly equipment
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods during the shift
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

The estimated hourly rate for this role, based in the United States of America is $24/Hr. -$ 26/Hr.

Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
