Manufacturing Tech, Test and Repair

Job Description

• •Responsible for performing a variety of technical support duties in one or more manufacturing areas, which may involve working with and assisting engineers.
• •Duties may be related to the selection, installation, maintenance, repair and support of manufacturing equipment; technical support of one or more production/fabrication processes, product testing and troubleshooting; and/or technical analyses and problem-solving.
• •Carries out and/or assists in the development, improvement and optimization of standards, processes and procedures in the manufacturing environment, which may include cycle-time, yield, unit cost, quality, safety and compliance.
• •May assist in qualifying sources of raw materials, chemicals and other ingredients used in the manufacturing process.
• •May use layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals and rough sketches or drawings to set up, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment and perform maintenance and repairs.
• •Works with engineers to develop, execute and track the testing and problem resolution of new and existing components, parts, products or processes/systems.
• •Compiles and maintains applicable documentation.
• •May design and/or build tools.

Qualifications

• •Nitec or Higher Nitec/Diploma/Degree in Biomedical/Biotech/Chemistry/Electrical or a related field.
• •Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• •Basic understanding of chemical principles and safety protocols.
• •Basic to advanced troubleshooting skills.

This job has a full time weekly schedule.
