About MUSH

Founded in 2015, MUSH manufactures, distributes, and markets ready-to-eat food products designed to make healthy eating more convenient. Our first product line of ready-to-eat overnight oats pioneered a new category for the breakfast occasion, offering a healthy, satisfying, and convenient alternative to traditional morning meals.

Our mission is to make healthy food more convenient so that humankind can feel, think, and do better.

Role Overview

The Trainer owns and leads the training program for MUSH's ready-to-eat food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring every team member is trained, qualified, and confident in their role, from their first day on the floor through ongoing refreshers, while keeping the facility audit-ready for SMETA, BRC, regulatory, and customer requirements.

This individual builds and owns the annual training schedule, creates training content from the ground up, and personally delivers training across all shifts in both English and Spanish. The role partners closely with HR, Production, Quality, Food Safety, Sanitation, Maintenance, and Safety to ensure on-the-job, HR, safety, quality, and regulatory training is completed, documented, and effective.

The Trainer is an outspoken, hands-on leader who is comfortable commanding a room, holding people accountable for training completion, and speaking up when training is behind or not working.

Key Responsibilities

Create training content from scratch in English and Spanish, partnering with Production, Quality, Food Safety, Sanitation, Maintenance, and Safety

Ensure every new hire completes required onboarding training before working on the production floor

Coordinate OSHA, GMP, food safety, and other regulatory and customer-required training

Maintain audit-ready training records, the training matrix, and certification refreshers

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
